About Me

I know well the frustration and pain that can come from not understanding why we feel stuck or why certain patterns continue to affect life. For the past fifteen years, I have supported individuals in moving beyond the barriers created by complex trauma, depression, attachment wounds, and PTSD.

My approach is grounded in safety, connection, gentleness, and honesty. I believe meaningful change happens through a collaborative process where you do not have to navigate difficult experiences alone.

My experience extends well beyond professional training. It has been shaped by my own life experiences, another career, family, and years of working with people from a wide range of circumstances—from individuals living with severe mental illness to highly successful professionals, those with significant financial challenges or high net worth, those with supportive families and social groups and those who feel profoundly alone.

These experiences have taught me that, regardless of background, circumstance, or intersecting identities, people are often carrying struggles that may not be visible from the outside. I bring compassion, respect, and an understanding of that complexity to the work we do together.

I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2011 following a career in policy and strategy. I am originally from Scotland and as an adult moved to France and then the US. I have known what it is like to live with little and what it is like to have privilege in some of my identities. My journey started with mental health in my own life and I now offer the many years of experience and study to help you with yours.

In my free time I enjoy paddleboarding, playing piano, reading, and dancing.
